Established in 2015 by Baz Armstrong, Edit Architecture is a Leeds based practice bringing bespoke design to our clients. We take a holistic approach to each commission, responding, creating and transforming spaces; bringing a new environment into existence.
Baz began his career at 16, leaving secondary education and undertaking an apprenticeship in Architectural Design for a Carlisle based practice, studying part time with courses covering, Architectural Design & Technology and Sustainable Building over the next 10 years. This exposure within a creative studio environment enabled Baz to understand the design process from inception to completion whilst honing the art of hand drawing, the skill of detailing and shaping his passion for all things design and a love of architecture.
Now with over 20 years of experience across the residential, heritage and hospitality sectors Baz has developed extensive knowledge and experience, including designing and leading a team on a multimillion pound award winning 5star Hotel in Scotland and a Boutique Hotel in the heart of Leeds, together with numerous niche residential projects.
Baz established Edit Architecture in 2015 with a simple aim of creating beautiful projects for each client. Every project is different, each with a unique set of parameters and requirements. Our creative and pragmatic approach to all projects centres around developing a clear coherent design solution that creates a sense of place, a feeling of space, an abundance of light with quality materials and craftsmanship.
